If you’re new to Grand Junction and looking for a great place to take Rover for a walk, we’ve got a list for you. Check out the following dog parks in Grand Junction. Be sure to stop by our store to pick up a new harness, toy, and treats!
Long Family Memorial Park – This park on the east end of town, near Central High School, is a great option! The park itself is huge, and there is an enclosed off-leash dog park area too. You’ll find plenty of entertaining friends here and lots of space to roam!
Canyon View Park – Canyon View Park’s dog park is located at the north end of the park, near the Interstate. It’s just over 3 acres and enclosed, so your pup can run free! This one also has a separate area for small/senior dogs too.

Las Colonias Dog Park – The closest dog park to downtown Grand Junction, the Las Colonias park is located along the riverfront trail at Las Colonias park, south of downtown. There are 3 separate sections for: large dogs, active dogs, and senior/small dogs.
Love’s Travel Stop – The Love’s Travel Stop near the I-70 Interchange off of Hwy 6, west of town, has a great fenced in dog park. Love’s Travel Stops are always pet friendly, and if you’re just passing through, this spot may be your best bet for convenience: gas and a pet pit stop too!
